Quercus alba (White Oak)
Quercus alba, commonly known as White Oak, is a large deciduous tree native to eastern and central North America. It can reach a height of 80-100 feet and has a spreading crown with a diameter of 50-80 feet. The bark of the White Oak is light gray and develops deep furrows as the tree ages. The leaves are lobed with rounded ends and turn a vibrant red in the fall.
