Ziziphus obtusifolia 'Canescens' (Graythorn, Jujube)

Ziziphus obtusifolia 'Canescens', commonly known as Graythorn or Jujube, is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has small, rounded, grey-green leaves and thorny branches. The plant produces small, edible, date-like fruits that are sweet and rich in flavor. Graythorn can grow up to 20 feet in height and 15 feet in width.
