Zauschneria canum (California Fuchsia)

Zauschneria canum, commonly known as California Fuchsia, is a low-growing perennial shrub native to California and Oregon. It belongs to the Onagraceae family and is valued for its vibrant and abundant red-orange trumpet-shaped flowers that bloom from summer through fall. The plant has grey-green leaves that are narrow and lance-shaped. California Fuchsia is a drought-tolerant plant and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
