Vancouveria hexandra, also known as Inside-out Flower, is a mat-forming perennial plant with fernlike foliage. It is native to the western parts of North America. The plants have delicate, lacy leaves that resemble fern fronds. In the spring, small creamy white flowers emerge, gracefully hanging down on slender stems, giving it the name Inside-out Flower. The plant typically reaches a height of 6-12 inches and has a spread of about 12-24 inches.
