The Ulmus parvifolia 'True Green', commonly known as Chinese or Lacebark Elm, is a deciduous tree with a unique exfoliating bark that reveals a mosaic of colors including gray, green, orange, and brown. It has dark green leaves that turn golden yellow in the fall. This tree is tolerant of various soil conditions and is resistant to Dutch elm disease. It grows in an upright, vase-like shape and makes an excellent shade tree.
