Trillium luteum (Yellow Trillium wildflower)

Trillium luteum, commonly known as Yellow Trillium wildflower, is a perennial plant native to the eastern United States. It is a member of the Trillium genus, which is characterized by its three-petaled flowers and whorl of three leaves. The Yellow Trillium has bright yellow flowers that bloom in the spring, adding a splash of color to woodland areas. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. This wildflower can reach a height of 12-18 inches and has a spread of about 10 inches.
