Taxodium distichum 'Falling Waters' (Bald Cypress)
The 'Falling Waters' cultivar of Taxodium distichum, commonly known as Bald Cypress, is a deciduous conifer with a unique architectural form. Its feather-like foliage starts off a vibrant green in spring and turns a beautiful coppery-orange in the fall. This cultivar is particularly prized for its weeping branches that create a cascading effect, resembling a waterfall. The Bald Cypress is a large tree that can reach heights of up to 100 feet and widths of around 25-30 feet.
