Talinum calycinum, commonly known as Fameflower, Rock Pink, or Jewels of Opar, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. It produces delicate clusters of small pink flowers that resemble jewels, hence its common names. The plant has succulent leaves and forms a low-growing mound of foliage. It is drought-tolerant and thrives in dry, rocky soils. The Fameflower is a charming addition to rock gardens, ground covers, and xeriscapes.
