Tagetes lucida (Mexican Mint Marigold)

Tagetes lucida, also known as Mexican Mint Marigold, is a perennial herb native to Mexico. It is highly aromatic with a strong anise scent. The plant produces small yellow flowers that resemble marigolds and attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Mexican Mint Marigold is commonly used in culinary dishes as a substitute for French tarragon.
