Stachys byzantina, also known as Lamb's Ear, is a herbaceous perennial plant that is native to Turkey and Iran. It is characterized by its soft, silvery-gray leaves that feel velvety to the touch. Lamb's Ear produces tall flower spikes in the summer, bearing small, pink or purple flowers. This plant is commonly grown for its foliage and makes an excellent ground cover or edging plant in gardens. It is also highly drought tolerant and deer resistant.
