Sporobolus wrightii, commonly known as Giant Sacaton Grass, is a large, warm-season perennial grass native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is characterized by tall, upright stems that can reach heights of up to 6 feet. The grass forms dense clumps of blue-green foliage and produces elegant, feathery flower spikes in the summer. Giant Sacaton Grass is commonly used in ornamental landscape designs and native grass restoration projects.
