Sorbus torminalis (Wild Service Tree)
The Wild Service Tree, also known as the Checker Tree or Chequers, is a deciduous tree native to Europe and Western Asia. It has a rounded crown with deeply lobed, dark green leaves that turn shades of yellow and orange in the fall. The tree produces white flowers in spring, which are followed by small greenish-brown fruits that resemble cherries.
