Silene acaulis (Catchfly, Moss Campion)

Silene acaulis, commonly known as Catchfly or Moss Campion, is a low-growing perennial herb. It forms dense cushions of moss-like foliage and produces vibrant pink flowers that bloom in early summer. This alpine plant is native to mountainous regions and is well-adapted to harsh conditions, making it suitable for rock gardens and alpine gardens. It typically grows to a height of 10-15 cm and spreads to a width of about 20-30 cm.
