Sesuvium portulacastrum, commonly known as Sea or Shoreline Purslane, is a low-growing succulent plant that is native to coastal areas. It has fleshy, cylindrical leaves that are green in color and succulent stems. The plant produces small pink flowers that bloom throughout the summer, attracting bees and butterflies. Sea/Shoreline Purslane is a hardy plant that can tolerate salt spray and is commonly found along sandy beaches and dunes.
