Salvia leucophylla, commonly known as Coastal White Sage, is a perennial shrub native to California. It has aromatic gray-green leaves with a silvery hue, and produces clusters of showy lavender-pink flowers in late spring and early summer. This drought-tolerant plant attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies and is often used in native and water-wise gardens. Coastal White Sage can reach a height of 3 to 5 feet and has a spreading habit, typically growing 4 to 6 feet wide.
