Salix nigra, commonly known as Black Willow, is a fast-growing deciduous tree that is native to eastern North America. It is commonly found in wet areas such as swamps, marshes, and riverbanks. The Black Willow is known for its black bark, slender leaves, and long, pendulous branches. It can reach heights of up to 70 feet and has a width of about 30-40 feet.
