Salix amygdaloides, commonly known as Peachleaf Willow, is a deciduous tree native to wetland areas. It is characterized by its narrow, lance-shaped leaves that have a peach-like scent when crushed. The tree produces catkins in spring which are followed by small, inconspicuous flowers. Growing up to 30 feet in height and 20 feet in width, Peachleaf Willow provides excellent shade and erosion control in wetland environments.
