Rosa laevigata (Cherokee Rose)

Rosa laevigata, commonly known as Cherokee Rose, is a thorny shrub that belongs to the Rosaceae family. It is native to southern China and Taiwan and has been widely cultivated for its beautiful white flowers. The Cherokee Rose is known for its vigorous growth and can reach a height of 8-10 feet with a width of 15-18 feet. Its fragrant blooms appear in spring and are followed by attractive red hips that persist into winter.
