Rodgersia aesculifolia (Fingerleaf Rodgersia)

Rodgersia aesculifolia, commonly known as Fingerleaf Rodgersia, is a herbaceous perennial plant native to east Asia. It features large, lobed, palmate leaves resembling the shape of horse chestnut leaves, hence the species name 'aesculifolia'. The leaves have a glossy texture and can reach up to 8-12 inches in diameter. In late spring or early summer, Rodgersia aesculifolia produces tall, erect flower spikes that bear small pink or white flowers. This plant prefers moist, shady conditions and is often used in woodland gardens or alongside water features.
