Ribes roezlii (Sierra Gooseberry)

The Ribes roezlii, commonly known as Sierra Gooseberry, is a thorny deciduous shrub native to western North America. It features erect branches with lobed leaves and white or light pink bell-shaped flowers that bloom in spring. The plant produces small prickly fruits that are edible and are enjoyed by wildlife.
