The Lacey Oak is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree that typically grows up to 30 feet tall. It has a rounded canopy with dense, lacy foliage that is bluish-green in color. The leaves are deeply lobed and have a unique lace-like appearance, giving the tree its common name. In the spring, the Lacey Oak produces inconspicuous yellow-green flowers.
