The Pyrus calleryana 'Bradford', commonly known as the Bradford Pear, is a deciduous tree that is native to East Asia. It is known for its distinctive pyramidal shape and beautiful white flowers in the spring. The leaves are glossy and green, turning to shades of red and purple in the fall. It is a popular ornamental tree, but has a reputation for weak branching that can be susceptible to storm damage.
