Prunus maackii (Amur Chokeberry)

Prunus maackii, commonly known as Amur Chokeberry, is a deciduous shrub that belongs to the Rosaceae family. It is native to eastern Asia and widely cultivated for its ornamental value. The plant reaches a height of 25-40 feet and has an exfoliating bark. In spring, it produces clusters of white flowers followed by small dark red berries in the fall.
