Phlox stolonifera (Creeping Phlox)
Phlox stolonifera, commonly known as Creeping Phlox, is a beautiful herbaceous perennial that spreads by underground stems called stolons. It features clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers in various shades of pink, lavender, or white. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, making it a great addition to pollinator gardens. Creeping Phlox has a low-growing habit and forms a dense mat of foliage which makes it an excellent groundcover plant. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is deer resistant.
