Peltophorum pterocarpum (Copperpod / Royal Poinciana)

Peltophorum pterocarpum, commonly known as Copperpod or Royal Poinciana, is a deciduous tree native to tropical regions. It is known for its stunning display of bright orange-red flowers which cover the tree during the summer months. The feathery leaves provide a lacy texture to the canopy. This medium-sized tree can reach heights of up to 40 feet and has a spread of about 30 feet.
