Parthenocissus quinquefolia (Woodbine/Virginia Creeper vine)
Parthenocissus quinquefolia, commonly known as Woodbine or Virginia Creeper vine, is a deciduous vine native to eastern and central North America. It is known for its beautiful deep green foliage with five leaflets that turn brilliant shades of red in the fall. This vigorous climber can reach heights of 30-50 feet or more, forming dense mats of foliage when trained on walls, fences, or arbors. The plant produces small greenish flowers in spring, followed by clusters of dark blue berries that attract birds.
