Opuntia robusta (Giant Prickly Pear Cactus)

Opuntia robusta, commonly known as the Giant Prickly Pear Cactus, is a large succulent plant native to Mexico. It is characterized by its distinctive flat, paddle-shaped stems, covered in sharp spines and small glochids. The cactus produces vibrant yellow flowers in the spring, followed by edible fruits. The Giant Prickly Pear Cactus can grow up to 6 feet tall and 8 feet wide, forming dense clusters over time.
