Opuntia imbricata, commonly known as the Staghorn Cholla Cactus, is a species of cactus native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is characterized by its unique branching structure and long, spiny stems. The stems of the Cholla Cactus resemble the antlers of a stag, hence its common name. This cactus produces beautiful flowers in shades of yellow, pink, or purple, which bloom in late spring to early summer.
