Oemleria cerasiformis (Indian Plum / Osoberry)
Oemleria cerasiformis, commonly known as Indian Plum or Osoberry, is a deciduous shrub native to western North America. It grows up to 10-15 feet tall and has a spreading habit. In early spring, it produces clusters of fragrant, white flowers that are followed by small, edible red fruits resembling plums. The leaves are dark green and turn yellow in the fall, adding a touch of color to the landscape. Indian Plum is well-suited for naturalizing, woodland gardens, or as a screen or hedge plant.
