Nyssa sylvatica (Seedling Black Gum / Tupelo)

Nyssa sylvatica, commonly known as Black Gum or Tupelo, is a deciduous tree native to eastern North America. It is characterized by its glossy green leaves and beautiful red foliage in the fall. The tree produces inconspicuous flowers in the spring, which are followed by small blue-black fruits that are loved by birds. It typically grows to a height of 50-80 feet with a spread of 20-30 feet.
