Nolina matapensis (Tree Bear Grass)
Nolina matapensis, commonly known as Tree Bear Grass, is an evergreen perennial plant native to the southern United States. It features long, thin, grass-like leaves that grow in a dense clump, forming a trunk-like structure at the base. The leaves are rigid and sharply-pointed, with a blue-green color. In early summer, tall flower stalks emerge, bearing clusters of small white flowers. This plant is drought-tolerant and thrives in well-drained soil.
