Nolina beldingii, commonly known as Tree Bear grass, is a native perennial shrub that is found in the desert areas of California and Nevada. It is characterized by its long, narrow leaves that grow in rosettes at the base of the plant. The leaves are green and leathery, with sharp tips, and can reach up to 3 feet in length. In the summer, the plant produces tall stalks of tiny white flowers. Tree Bear grass typically grows to a height of 4-6 feet and spreads out to a width of 2-3 feet.
