Leiophyllum buxifolium, also known as Sandmyrtle or Mountain Myrtle, is a small evergreen shrub native to the Southeastern United States. It has dense foliage with small, leathery, glossy leaves. In the spring, it produces clusters of delicate white flowers, which attract pollinators. This plant is ideal for rock gardens or as a low border plant. It grows to a height of 2 feet and spreads about 3 feet wide.
