The Alligator Juniper (Juniperus deppeana 'McFetters') is a unique evergreen tree native to the southwestern United States. It is characterized by its distinctive scaly, bark that resembles the skin of an alligator, hence its name. This slow-growing tree has needle-like blue-green foliage and produces small bluish-black berries. It can reach a height of up to 50 feet and spread around 15-20 feet wide.
