Juglans regia (English Walnut)
Juglans regia, commonly known as English walnut, is a deciduous tree native to the regions of southeastern Europe and southwestern Asia. It is widely cultivated for its edible nuts. The tree has a broad, rounded crown and can reach a height of 30-60 feet. The leaves are pinnate, with 5-9 leaflets that turn yellow in autumn. The tree produces small, inconspicuous, wind-pollinated flowers in spring.
