Jasminum nudiflorum, or winter jasmine, is a deciduous shrub with arching branches that produces bright yellow flowers in late winter or early spring. The small, simple, yellow flowers are borne in loose clusters and appear before the leaves emerge. This shrub has bright green, pinnate leaves that turn yellow in the fall. Winter jasmine is a hardy plant and is often used for groundcover or as a climber on walls or fences.
