Ilex crenata 'Soft Touch' (Soft Touch Japanese Holly)

Ilex crenata 'Soft Touch' is a compact, evergreen shrub with small, glossy, dark green leaves that have a soft touch to them, hence the name. It forms a dense, mounded shape and is commonly used in hedges or as a foundation plant. It produces small, inconspicuous flowers followed by black berries that persist throughout the winter. 'Soft Touch' is a low maintenance plant that is highly resistant to deer browsing.
