Gillenia trifoliata (Bowman's Root / Indian Physic)

Gillenia trifoliata, commonly known as Bowman's Root or Indian Physic, is a herbaceous perennial plant native to North America. It features delicate, white, star-shaped flowers that bloom in clusters atop slender stems. The plant has trifoliate leaves and its rhizomatous roots have historically been used in traditional medicine. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and can tolerate partial shade to full sun.
