Furcraea spp. (False Agave)
Furcraea is a genus of succulent plants native to Central America. The plants resemble agaves but are actually more closely related to lilies. They have long, sword-shaped leaves with sharp spines along the edges. Furcraea plants can grow quite large and form rosettes of leaves that can reach several feet in length. They are drought-tolerant and can thrive in well-drained soil.
