Furcraea longaeva (Furcraea)
Furcraea longaeva, commonly known as Furcraea, is a yucca-like plant characterized by a tall stem and the production of plantlets. It belongs to the Agavaceae family and is native to Mexico. Furcraea plants have rosettes of long, sword-shaped leaves that can reach several feet in length. The leaves are stiff and sharp-edged, giving the plant a spiky appearance. The plantlets, also known as offsets, grow on the flower stalks and can be detached and planted to propagate new plants.
