Fraxinus excelsior (Desert/European/Mountain/Golden Ash)

Fraxinus excelsior, commonly known as Desert Ash, European Ash, Mountain Ash, or Golden Ash, is a deciduous tree native to Europe and parts of Asia. It is known for its tall, upright growth habit with a broad crown of feathery foliage. The leaves are compound and can have serrated edges. In spring, the tree produces small, inconspicuous flowers, followed by clusters of winged seeds called samaras. The Desert Ash is an excellent choice for creating shade and provides a lovely canopy with its golden autumn foliage.
