Fothergilla gardenii, also known as Dwarf Fothergilla, is a deciduous shrub native to the southeastern United States. It is a compact plant that forms a low, mound-like shape. The leaves are oval and green, turning brilliant shades of orange, red, and yellow in the fall. In spring, it produces fragrant, bottlebrush-like white flowers that are attractive to pollinators.
