Fargesia frigidis (Yunnan Mountain Bamboo)

Fargesia frigidis, also known as Yunnan Mountain Bamboo, is a clumping bamboo native to the mountains of Yunnan, China. It is a non-invasive bamboo that forms dense clumps of slender, upright canes. The canes are green, turning a purplish-red color with sun exposure. The foliage is feathery and dark green, providing an elegant appearance to the plant. It is a cold-hardy bamboo that can tolerate temperatures down to USDA zone 6a.
