Eryngium yuccifolium (Rattlesnake Master)

Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium) is a wildflower that belongs to the carrot family. It is native to the eastern and central regions of North America. The plant has distinctive yucca-like leaves and produces unique spherical flower heads with prickly, white or greenish-white bracts. It is highly attractive to pollinators, especially butterflies and bees. Rattlesnake Master blooms in the summer and can reach a height of 3 to 5 feet.
