Echinocereus dasyacanthus (Texas Rainbow Cactus)

Echinocereus dasyacanthus, commonly known as Texas Rainbow Cactus, is a species of cactus native to the desert regions of Texas in the United States. This small, clumping cactus features cylindrical stems covered in dense spines of various colors, hence the name 'Rainbow Cactus'. The spines range in color from pale yellow to pink and even purple, creating a stunning visual display. It produces beautiful magenta to purple-pink colored flowers in late spring or early summer.
