Dicentra canadensis (Squirrel Corn)

Dicentra canadensis, commonly known as Squirrel Corn, is a delicate wildflower found in the eastern regions of North America. Its fern-like foliage emerges in early spring, followed by clusters of heart-shaped, pale yellow flowers that resemble kernels of corn.
