Dianthus myrtinervins (Mountain Pink)

Dianthus myrtinervins, commonly known as Mountain Pink, is a perennial flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae. It is native to the mountains of Western North America. The plant forms spreading mats of narrow, gray-green leaves, and produces clusters of fragrant, pink flowers in late spring and early summer. It is a lovely addition to rock gardens and is also suitable for border plantings or containers.
