Dendrocalamus yunnanicus (Giant Bamboo)

Dendrocalamus yunnanicus, commonly known as Giant Bamboo, is a large and fast-growing bamboo species native to Yunnan, China. It features tall, straight culms (stems) that can reach up to 60 feet in height. The culms have a diameter of approximately 5 inches. The plant forms dense clumps of foliage, creating a lush and tropical appearance. Giant Bamboo is commonly used for construction purposes, as well as for providing privacy and creating windbreaks in landscapes.
