Coccoloba uvifera (Sea Grape)
Sea Grape (Coccoloba uvifera) is a versatile and tropical evergreen tree, native to coastal areas of the Caribbean and Florida. It is known for its large, round leaves that resemble grape leaves and can grow up to 10 inches in diameter. The tree produces clusters of small, sweet-tasting purple fruits that are commonly used for making jellies, jams, and wine. Sea Grape trees are highly salt-tolerant and make an excellent choice for coastal gardens or as a windbreak. They can reach a height of 30-40 feet and have a spread of 15-20 feet.
