Celastrus orbiculatus, commonly known as Redberry or Chinese Bittersweet Vine, is a deciduous woody vine that belongs to the Celastraceae family. It is native to East Asia and is known for its invasive growth habit. The vine features elliptical leaves with serrated edges and clusters of small, greenish-yellow flowers that bloom in late spring. In autumn, female plants produce bright orange-yellow fruit capsules, which open to reveal showy red berries.
